It's been a while since I've talked to you. How have you been? Did you enjoy Tech Day? Those Spheros are really fun!
The weather is warming up! Do you think that means spring has arrived?
The time changes this weekend. That means an hour more of sunshine in the evenings. I hope you will get outside and play. I love to go to Whitewater State Park to play. Kelsie and I hike Memorial Loop and go for walks in the campground.
In another month Mrs. Migoski will be able to get her kayak out.

Thanks for all the friends who have come to visit me. Mrs. Ashbrook looks a little overwhelmed by all the visitors from her class!
Valentine's Day is this weekend. I would love it if you would like to give me a valentine. I have my own box. Feel free to bring it on Friday even if you don't have music.
Next weekend could be a 3 day weekend if there are no snow days this week. Presidents' Day is Monday. Who is your favorite president? I bet you said, "George Washington". My favorite president is Ronald Reagan.

Did you hear about the groundhog? He did not see his shadow and predicted an early spring! Yes! I hope he is right.
Have you turned in your reading calendar? Cookie day is Wednesday. I wonder if I can make one. I read all the time. I love the Little House books. I want pink sprinkles on my cookie.

What did you do last weekend? Kelsie and I stayed home and made Rice Krispee cookies and baked a chocolate cake. Which treat would you like to eat?

It's so cold! I don't like it. Kelsie and I didn't even get to go to the park this weekend.
Did you have your popcorn party last week? Or is it today? Yum!
