Parents: Summary of April 14 - April 17, 2014

No school on Friday meant 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade classes didn't get to play recorder this week.  5th grade choir met on Thursday instead of Friday. Our Spring Choir concert that is part of Union County Fine Arts Day has been rescheduled from May 10 to Sunday, May 18 at 4:00 in the High School Auditorium.

All grades enjoyed a concert on Wednesday by the High School Patriot Singers.

5th grade classes watched the first half of the Beethoven movie this week.

4th graders added verses to our additive song about the yodeling Austrian.

3rd grade kids played the Fifty Nifty game and read the Scrambled States of America book.

2nd grade classes did the Dinosaur Dance and talked about how to set up a square dance.

1st graders finished the Beethoven movie.

Kindergarteners made egg shakers and prepared for kindergarten grandparents' day.

Mrs. Ross' and Mrs. Ashbrook's classes earned popcorn parties this week.
